Algerian Red Crescent Sends Solidarity Convoy to Families Affected by Adverse Weather in Jijel

ALGIERS- The Algerian Red Crescent (ARC) has dispatched a solidarity convoy to families affected by the recent adverse weather in the Jijel province, according to a statement released Sunday by the humanitarian organization.
The convoy, which was initiated on Saturday by the President of ARC, Ibtissem Hamlaoui, consists of 1300 units of bedding (mattresses and blankets) and 1000 food parcels.
These relief supplies were received by the Directorate of Social Affairs of the province to be distributed to the affected families in the subsequent phase.
The humanitarian effort comes in response to the devastating impact of severe weather conditions that have caused significant damage and displacement in Jijel. The ARC’s swift response reflects its commitment to providing immediate assistance to those in need during times of crisis. Through collaborative partnerships and coordinated response efforts, the organization remains committed to providing assistance and support to communities in times of crisis.
