The ministers focused on the latest developments surrounding the Palestinian cause, particularly in the context of the ongoing genocidal war by Zionist forces in the Gaza Strip, which has now extended into the West Bank. The discussion highlighted the widespread ethnic cleansing, occupation, and expansion efforts by Zionist authorities and settlers.
Both ministers also discussed the potential for reinforcing Arab-Muslim efforts to address these escalating challenges. They underscored the importance of mobilizing the international community to uphold legal principles and support the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state as the only just, sustainable, and definitive resolution to the issue.
