Algeria’s Maritime Transport: ENTMV Warns Against Unauthorized Online Ticket Reservations

Algiers, Algeria | September 10th, 2024 — The National Maritime Passenger Transport Company (ENTMV) issued a public warning on Monday, cautioning travelers about booking their tickets online through platforms other than the company’s official website. In a statement, the ENTMV highlighted that it had recently detected several unauthorized pages, websites, and agencies illegally using the company’s brand, falsely claiming to offer online ticket reservations for ENTMV’s maritime routes.

The company reiterated that its official website is the sole authorized platform for booking tickets. Travelers seeking to reserve their seats for ENTMV’s various maritime destinations are encouraged to either use the official online portal or visit the nearest authorized commercial agency.

This warning comes as part of ENTMV’s efforts to protect consumers from potential scams and ensure that all transactions are made securely through legitimate channels.
