Algiers- Algeria, May 10, 2024 – The Ministry of Communication announced, on Thursday, its plan to organize training sessions in collaboration with the Constitutional Court, focusing on media coverage of the upcoming presidential election scheduled for September.
The statement emphasized the objective of disseminating constitutional, legal, and professional knowledge within the media to effectively cover the event. The Ministry invites interested media outlets to register their journalists for these sessions by submitting their names to the email address: [email protected].
These training sessions aim to provide journalists with the necessary expertise to deliver accurate, informative, and insightful coverage of the presidential election. By partnering with the Constitutional Court, the Ministry aims to ensure that media professionals possess a comprehensive understanding of the legal and constitutional aspects relevant to the electoral process.
