Algeria’s Presidential Elections: RND’s Mustapha Yahi Emphasizes Social Support, Economic Growth in Endorsement of Tebboune

Algiers, Algeria | August 26th, 2024 — During a campaign event in Bou-Saâda (M’sila) on Monday, Mustapha Yahi, Secretary General of the National Democratic Rally (RND), underscored the critical importance of endorsing independent candidate M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune in the forthcoming presidential election on September 7. Yahi emphasized that a vote for Tebboune would ensure the continuation of essential social support policies benefiting various segments of society.

Addressing attendees at the Zelouf-Abdelkader Multipurpose Hall on the 12th day of the election campaign, Yahi articulated that supporting Tebboune would sustain and advance policies aimed at aiding different population groups. He highlighted planned enhancements in housing programs, increased allowances for homemakers and those with specific needs, and improvements in pensions and civil servant salaries.

Yahi also pointed out that backing Tebboune would drive economic growth and consolidate achievements across various sectors. He emphasized that voting for Tebboune would advance the nation’s development, reflecting the candidate’s dedication to both social welfare and economic progress.

In his closing remarks, Yahi called for a “massive turnout” on September 7, urging voters to support M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune to build a stronger and more prosperous Algeria in all aspects.
