Algiers, Algeria | June 10th, 2024 — Saida Neghza, President of the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises (CGEA), officially declared her candidacy for the upcoming presidential election on September 7, 2024. The announcement was made during a press conference held at her campaign headquarters in Delly Brahim, Algiers.

In her address, Neghza stated, “I made this decision after a long period of reflection and with full awareness of the great expectations of the Algerian people. I am also aware of the enormous responsibility that comes with it.” She emphasized her extensive experience in managing economic institutions and leading national and international organizations, which has provided her with insights into emerging economies and the global technological race.
Neghza added, “It is our duty to change mentalities, roll up our sleeves, and face all challenges concerning our future with courage and determination. I have complete confidence in our people’s ability to overcome these trials.”
Vision for Algeria
Neghza’s campaign focuses on realizing the dream of Algeria’s martyrs to build a democratic and social republic. She called on the public for support, stating, “Together, we will build an Algeria where every citizen has a chance to succeed, where every young person can achieve their ambitions in all regions and corners of the country. I will work to remove all obstacles to create the wealth necessary for building a productive economy capable of meeting our needs in sectors, such as agriculture, industry, services, and knowledge technologies.”
