Algiers, Algeria | June 8th, 2024 — The National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE) has announced that individual signature subscription forms for candidates in the upcoming presidential election, slated for September 7, will be available starting today, Saturday. The forms can be collected at the ANIE headquarters located at the Palace of Nations (Club des Pins).
Requirements for Withdrawal:
Candidates or their authorized representatives must present the following documents to withdraw the forms:
– A letter of intent addressed to the president of ANIE
– Proof of deposit for the required financial guarantee
– A recent photograph
– A copy of the national identity card
– An authorization letter for the candidate’s representative
To streamline the process, appointments for the withdrawal of the signature subscription forms can also be made through ANIE’s online platform: (https://rdv2024.ina-elections.dz).
Financial Guarantee:
In accordance with Article 250 of Ordinance 21-01, candidates are required to deposit a financial guarantee of 250,000 DA with Treasury services nationwide.
Electoral List Revision:
This announcement follows a presidential decree signed by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which schedules the start of the extraordinary revision of electoral lists from Wednesday, June 12, 2024, to Thursday, June 27, 2024.
The previous local elections held on November 27, 2021, recorded an electoral body comprising 23,717,479 voters.
