ALGIERS- The editorial of the El Djeich Magazine emphasizes that Algeria, rooted in its national sovereignty and supreme interest, has consistently overcome crises and pivotal moments. The nation emerges from these challenges with greater determination and strength, ready to confront various challenges with the power and faith of its people, including the sons of the National People’s Army.

Reflecting on the significant historical event, the 63rd anniversary of the December 11, 1960 protests, the editorial notes that it demonstrated the Algerian people’s unwavering resolve to break the chains of slavery and repel the oppressive occupier.

The editorial states that this historic milestone serves as an occasion to draw inspiration from the ancestors, learning from their strength of will, self-denial, and determination to achieve goals despite challenges.

Furthermore, the editorial underscores the need to renew the commitment to the path set by the ancestors, preserving their legacy. It urges revisiting Algeria’s glorious past to draw strength for building the “New Algeria,” a nation that has been steadily progressing for four years since the election of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The editorial asserts that no one can impede the progress of the “New Algeria,” as affirmed by President Tebboune in his address during a meeting with economic entrepreneurs. It emphasizes that Algeria will undoubtedly overcome various challenges thanks to the strength and faith of its people, including the National People’s Army.

Internationally, the editorial notes the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It highlights the world’s awareness of heinous crimes and atrocities committed against the Palestinian people, violating international and humanitarian law.

In this context, the editorial mentions President Tebboune’s call for free people worldwide, legal experts, Arab entities, and human rights organizations to file a lawsuit before the International Criminal Court against the perpetrators of these crimes. It underscores Algeria’s unwavering stance on just causes, particularly the Palestinian and Western Saharan issues.
