Algiers, Algeria | August 6th, 2024 — Algérie Ferries, the country’s premier maritime transport provider, has unveiled a revised schedule for August 2024, introducing notable changes to its European routes.

Major Schedule Modifications and Route Changes

The revised schedule impacts key routes to France, Italy, and Spain, with several voyages being rescheduled or redirected:

Routes to Spain:

• Alicante – Oran: The departure scheduled for August 6, 2024, originally set for 19:00, has been rescheduled to 11:00 aboard the vessel El Djazair II.
• Oran – Alicante: The return trip on August 7, 2024, has been postponed to August 11, 2024, at 22:00, now operating aboard the Tassili II.
• Alicante – Oran: The crossing originally set for August 8, 2024, is now moved to August 7, 2024, at 19:00.
• Oran – Alicante: The departure on August 9, 2024, has been rescheduled to August 11, 2024, at 22:00, with the Tassili II.
• Alicante – Algiers: The August 10, 2024, sailing has been changed to Alicante – Oran on August 12, 2024, at 19:00 aboard the Tassili II.

Routes to Italy:

• Skikda – Gênes: The August 8, 2024, crossing is redirected to Algiers – Marseille on the same day at 18:00.
• Gênes – Skikda: The voyage originally planned for August 9, 2024, will now operate as Marseille – Skikda on August 12, 2024, at 14:00 aboard the El Djazair II.

Routes to France:

• Oran – Sète: The departure on August 9, 2024, will now leave from Oran to Marseille on August 11, 2024, at 10:00.
• Marseille – Skikda: The trip scheduled for August 7, 2024, is postponed to August 12, 2024, at 14:00.
• Skikda – Marseille: The August 10, 2024, crossing is rescheduled to August 13, 2024, at 15:00.
• Marseille – Oran: The departure initially set for August 12, 2024, will now occur on August 14, 2024, at 14:00.
• Oran – Sète: The voyage on August 15, 2024, will now be at 17:00 instead of the original 15:00.
• Sète – Oran: The crossing on August 16, 2024, has been rescheduled from 17:00 to 20:00 aboard the El Djazair II.
