Algiers, Algeria | December 5th, 2024 — In response to heightened travel demand during the year-end holiday season, the National Maritime Transport Company, Algérie Ferries, has announced the addition of two new crossings between Algiers and Marseille. The decision reflects the company’s commitment to ensuring seamless connectivity and accommodating the surge in passenger numbers during this festive period.
According to an official statement released on Algérie Ferries’ Facebook page, the supplemental crossings will be operated by the Badji Mokhtar III, a state-of-the-art vessel renowned for its high-capacity and top-tier services.
The schedule for these additional crossings is as follows:
- Algiers-Marseille: Departure on December 16 at 12:00 PM.
- Marseille-Algiers: Return trip on December 18 at 12:00 PM.
These newly scheduled voyages are designed to ease travel logistics for passengers navigating between Algeria and France, offering an optimal solution for those planning to reunite with family or embark on vacations.
