ALGIERS- Algérie Télécom has announced its special promotional offers for Ramadan, along with the initiation of a solidarity caravan named “Idoom El Kheir” to aid disadvantaged families in various provinces of Algeria.
These promotional offers are carefully crafted to provide users with a certain number of complimentary connection days for each increase in bandwidth, explained Redha Guessas, Director of Marketing and Innovation at Algérie Télécom, during a press conference held at the company’s headquarters, as reported by APS.
For each bandwidth increase during the first week of Ramadan, customers will enjoy free connection for the entire month. This extends to 23 days of free connection if the upgrade occurs during the second week, 16 days during the third week, and 10 days during the final week.
Guessas specified that these offers are targeted towards individual customers of IDOOM ADSL, VDSL, and Fiber services. Additionally, a second Ramadan special offer allows customers to benefit from a 1000 gigabyte (GB) connection capacity by recharging 1500 Algerian dinars, with the volume being cumulative for subsequent recharges made during the promotion’s validity.
Exclusive advertising spots showcasing these offers were presented during the press conference and will be broadcasted to the wider audience through national audio-visual media channels throughout the sacred month of Ramadan.
Furthermore, Algérie Télécom will launch the “Idoom El Kheir” solidarity caravan through its social services center, which will traverse various provinces of the country to provide support to needy families with essential food items, as well as to “Errahma” restaurants.
By initiating this charitable endeavor, Algérie Télécom aims to reaffirm its commitment to social responsibility, emphasized Amir Benidir, Head of the Commercial and Marketing Division. Benidir further added that the caravan will be manned by voluntary employees of the company.
The press conference also served as an opportunity for Algérie Télécom officials to highlight the achievements of the past year and outline future prospects. Notably, the company aims to connect two-thirds of the Algerian population to the internet by 2024, encompassing all technologies, including fiber optic, benefiting 2 million households.
Additionally, a symbolic honor was bestowed upon Abderrafik Khenifsa, Director of the publication “IT Mag,” recognizing him as a pioneer in specialized publications in new technologies in Algeria.
