ALGIERS- The command of the National Gendarmerie informed the citizens, who live in Algiers, of the publication of two wilaya decrees relating to the ban on the circulation of noisy vehicles and motorcycles at night.

The first concerns the prohibition of large displacements (more than 125 cm3) from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The second, on the other hand, concerns noisy vehicles that have undergone modifications.

The ban on driving motorcycles and “noisy” cars will be effective from the third day of Eid el Fitr 2023.

The Gendarmerie also informs citizens that offenders will have their motorcycles and/or vehicles impounded for eight days. In case of recidivism, the duration will be extended to 15 days. Of course, the costs will be borne by the offenders.
