ALGIERS- Following his official installation as the new Director General of National Security (DGSN) by Interior Minister Brahim Merad, Ali Badaoui expressed his gratitude to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune for the trust placed in him to lead the National Security Directorate.
In a statement, Ali Badaoui underscored the pressing security challenges arising from regional and global developments, emphasizing the necessity of mobilizing all human and material resources to address these challenges.
The newly appointed DGSN highlighted the imperative for continuous and in-depth coordination with various partners, with the Algerian People’s National Armed Forces at the forefront. He called for the establishment of a robust defense against security threats and various forms of criminality to safeguard the nation’s security and protect the lives and property of its citizens.
Badaoui’s emphasis on collaboration and coordination reflects a strategic approach to national security, acknowledging the interconnected nature of contemporary security challenges. His call for a united front against security threats aligns with the broader efforts to fortify Algeria’s security infrastructure and ensure the well-being of its citizens.
