Algiers- Algeria, May 10, 2024 – Mourad Beldjehm, President of the National Agency for the Valorization of Hydrocarbon Resources (ALNAFT), recently hosted a Kenyan delegation from the energy sector, who visited Algeria to gain insights into the country’s capacities and experience in the energy field.
According to a statement from the Agency, the Kenyan delegation, led by their Ambassador to Algeria, Peter Katana Angore, arrived in Algiers with the aim to “become familiar with all activities in the hydrocarbon chain and to gain insight into Algeria’s capacities and experience in the energy field.”
The visit served as an opportunity to share ALNAFT’s extensive experience in managing Exploration and Production activities in the hydrocarbon sector, particularly focusing on the promotion and valorization process of Algerian hydrocarbon resources.
Algeria has long been recognized as a significant player in the global energy market, possessing expertise in the exploration, production, and management of hydrocarbon resources. Sharing this knowledge with countries like Kenya not only strengthens bilateral relations but also contributes to global energy security and sustainable development efforts.
