ALGIERS- Renowned American photographer Andrew Studer has recently released a breathtaking aerial video showcasing the Algerian desert as part of his latest project titled “Space to Roam: The Red Planet.”

Studer, recognized for his collaboration with well-known channels such as National Geographic and BBC, uploaded a captivating 5-minute and 41-second video on his YouTube channel, offering viewers a glimpse of the stunning landscapes of the Algerian desert.
Captured with a drone camera, the video provides an impressive view of the remarkable scenery found in the cultural hub of “Tassili n’Ajjer,” known as the “Plateau of the Bull” in the Tuareg language.
Adding a unique dimension to the mesmerizing desert scenes, the video features Nils van de Linden donning a spacesuit.
Studer credited the success of the project to the collaborative efforts of the astronaut who worked with him. “This project wouldn’t have been possible without the invaluable contribution of the astronaut,” he stated.
Expressing his admiration for Algeria, Studer previously remarked, “From the moment I first set foot in the Algerian desert, I knew that my series of space-to-roam astronaut images would not be complete without it.”
Further elaborating, he said, “I spent nearly two weeks exploring the beautiful desert from a rugged vehicle, camping under the stars, and walking long distances through landscapes reminiscent of space, with my dear friend Nils who came from the Netherlands to wear the suit and assist me.”
The video has received praise from American viewers on YouTube, with many expressing their desire to visit the Algerian desert someday to experience its beauty firsthand.
