Analyzing Iran’s Calculated Response to Zionist Aggression: Insights from Journalist Khaled Zineddine

ALGIERS- In an exclusive statement to Dzair Tube, Khaled Zineddine, a journalist and Editor-in-Chief at a licensed European-Arab International Newspaper in the European Union, as well as a member of the International Federation of Journalists in Brussels, offered insights into Iran’s response to recent Zionist aggression.
Zineddine underscored that Iran’s retaliatory action against Zionist aggression was both foreseeable and inevitable, given the latter’s encroachment into Iranian territory by targeting Iran’s consulate in Syrian jurisdiction. As per international protocols and agreements, any assault on a diplomatic enclave or a state’s territory constitutes an assault on the sovereignty of that state.
He observed that the Islamic Republic of Iran promptly opted to retaliate against the aggression once it transpired. Iran intentionally delayed its response, aiming to leverage it as a bargaining tool to bolster negotiations between Palestinian resistance factions and the occupying forces, with the ultimate goal of achieving a ceasefire.
Zineddine emphasized that Iran implemented its response immediately after ceasefire negotiations in Gaza faltered. This action by Iran served to strengthen the cohesion of the arenas and the axis of resistance.
He highlighted opposition from Russia, the United States, China, and various other nations to the notion of escalating regional hostilities in the region. “The United States’ inclination towards direct confrontation with Iran would imperil its regional interests and pave the way for Russian-Chinese dominance in the Middle East,” he concluded.
