ALGIERS- Moroccan organizations, including the Moroccan Action Group for Palestine and various civil society entities supporting the Palestinian people, announced their organization of a protest in front of the parliament building in Rabat. The protest, which took place on Wednesday evening, aimed to express outrage and condemnation for the systematic genocide against the people of Gaza and the West Bank. It also serves as part of the ongoing campaign to denounce normalization efforts and cancel all agreements related to normalization.
In a statement, the groups urged continuous popular mobilization in support of the Palestinian resistance and its steadfastness. They renewed the call for citizens to sign a popular petition against normalization, demanding the expulsion of the Zionist communication office in Rabat. This call for action is parallel to the field activities taking place in Rabat and other Moroccan cities.
Additionally, the Moroccan Observatory Against Normalization and the Moroccan Front for Palestine Support and Anti-Normalization mourned the deputy head of Hamas’ political bureau, Saleh al-Arouri, who was assassinated in a Zionist airstrike in Beirut. They condemned the Zionist terrorist act, describing it as a major turning point in the ongoing struggle against Zionist aggression.
The organizations extended their heartfelt condolences to Al-Arouri’s family and Hamas, emphasizing that the loss of such a prominent figure represents a great sacrifice that fuels renewed determination in the veins of the resistance.
The Moroccan Observatory called on the nation’s forces to rise to the level of these sacrifices on the path to Al Quds. It emphasized the need for collective efforts to face the enemy, including collaborators and the agendas of treacherous normalization. The organizations stressed the importance of countering all infiltrations by the enemy, which are considered just as criminal as the heinous acts of assassinations and mass executions in the war of genocide against the Palestinian people in Palestine, Lebanon, and all areas of resistance.
