Army General Saïd Changriha receives Minister of State for British Armed Forces

ALGIERS– Army General Saïd Changriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), received, today, in Algiers the Minister of State for the British Armed Forces, James Stephen Heappey, on a working visit to Algeria at the head of a large delegation.
According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, the two officials discussed military cooperation between the armies of the two countries, in addition to the possibilities of strengthening this partnership.
The new security challenges in the world and the African continent, in particular, were also at the center of the discussions.
“The two parties exchanged their views on issues of common interest,” reported the same source. Army General Saïd Changriha declared that “this kind of activities and meetings represent favorable opportunities to raise the strategic dialogue between Algeria and Great Britain to meet the aspirations of both institutions,” concluded the press release.
