ALGIERS- The Bank of Algeria (BNA) has inaugurated a new branch dedicated to Islamic finance. Alongside the opening of this new branch, the kickoff was also given for the launch of 36 new Islamic counters at various branches of the bank spread across several provinces, aiming to respond favorably to a growing demand.
In terms of figures, the Islamic Finance network of BNA now includes 11 dedicated branches and 104 counters, totaling 115 representations. This initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to further developing Islamic finance as a major axis of its growth, aligning with the government’s directives on resource mobilization and financial inclusion.
