ALGIERS- The lubricants plant (SOPREMAC) in the wilaya of Biskra is one of the most promising investments in the fuel sector. The plant has been reinforced with a new lubricant manufacturing line to meet the needs of the local market.
SOPREMAC has an annual production capacity of more than 60,000 tons, which has enabled it to bet on 15% of the needs of the national market thanks to 500 customers in all the wilayas.
The Biskra lubricants plant has been able to obtain several certificates of conformity from major international companies specializing in the manufacture of cars and trucks.
In a related context, SOPREMAC commissioned a new line with an annual capacity of 10,000 tonnes of lubricants that would support the local market with hydraulic oils, motor oils, gearbox oils, and industrial oils manufactured with the latest German technology for the production of oils.
The factory employs up to 120 young workers from the region, graduates of the Algerian University. These skills are in charge of the production line, packaging, and storage departments.
