Algiers, Algeria | October 7th, 2024 — The once carefully concealed ambitions of two infamous agents of the Moroccan regime, Amir DZ and Larbi Zitout, have erupted into a public confrontation, exposing the darker motives driving their online activities. Accusations and vulgar insults have been hurled back and forth, centered around the ownership and revenues of a YouTube channel, revealing their deteriorating financial state and dwindling support. This bitter conflict reaffirms long-standing suspicions regarding their funding sources, which include not only income from social media but also financial support from the Moroccan Makhzen, the Zionist entity, and certain circles in France.

A YouTube Battle Reveals Crumbling Finances and Discredited Agendas

Amir DZ accused his longtime associate Larbi Zitout, a figurehead of the Rachad Movement, of hijacking his YouTube channel, further confirming Algerian security services’ intelligence reports on their funding mechanisms. These revelations shed light on how Zitout and Amir DZ rely on social media revenue streams to complement the hefty financial backing they receive from foreign entities hostile to Algeria’s stability.

The public quarrel between these two men over YouTube revenue is more than just a spat over digital income. It speaks volumes about their deep financial troubles and the declining reach of their social media influence, as they have lost significant numbers of followers. This sharp decrease in support is a direct consequence of their repeated failures and the exposure of their fraudulent narratives. What was once a profitable propaganda machine now sputters, as both men bicker over dwindling resources and a shrinking audience.

Their Lowly Status Exposed for All to See

Each new chapter in this sordid drama further unravels the false image of Zitout and Amir DZ as “freedom fighters” or “advocates for justice.” Their current squabble has revealed their true character: mercenaries, devoid of principles, who exploit Algeria’s name for personal profit. Their vile language and personal attacks on each other in public confirm their willingness to degrade themselves and betray every notion of honor and patriotism in exchange for the financial rewards they receive from foreign backers.

These events also recall the 2022 confessions of the detained Mohamed Benhalima, a former member of the Rachad Movement, who came to see the truth behind this criminal network. After fleeing to France, Benhalima revealed that his direct experience with the group exposed them as little more than agents-for-hire, willing to sell their souls for the highest bidder. His testimony confirmed that Amir DZ and Zitout, far from being champions of any noble cause, were exploiting young, impressionable Algerians for their own gain. Benhalima’s words were echoed by young inmates in Harrach Prison, who expressed disgust towards Zitout and Amir DZ, having realized that these so-called activists were nothing more than charlatans, taking advantage of the common people.

The Financial Meltdown of Rachad and its Leading Figures

This feud comes at a time when the Rachad Movement, a foreign-backed terror organization spearheaded by Zitout, finds itself in deep crisis. Its internal strife is compounded by foreign financial dependency, with its leaders now openly feuding over who controls these illicit funds. The “dirty money” funneled into Rachad by external sources, including secret bank accounts, has not only stained the movement’s name but also sparked severe tensions among its leadership, particularly between Zitout and other high-ranking members. Zitout, often referred to as the “head of the snake,” has found himself increasingly isolated as former allies turn against him, demanding that funds be placed into the organization’s official accounts—requests he has defied, opting to keep control of the finances.

The deepening fractures within Rachad can be traced back to Algerian security forces’ efforts during the Hirak protests, where numerous social media pages linked to the movement were systematically dismantled. These pages, primarily managed from European countries, were instrumental in spreading discord within Algeria, but a series of well-coordinated counter-operations by Algerian authorities effectively severed Rachad’s media lifeline, leaving the movement crippled and isolated. With their propaganda capabilities disrupted, Rachad’s leaders, once emboldened by their reach, have now turned on each other as financial hardships mount.

A Movement on the Brink of Collapse

This ongoing power struggle and financial meltdown could well mark the end of Larbi Zitout and Amir DZ’s deceitful reign. Zitout, in particular, appears to be facing the beginning of the end of his leadership within Rachad, as internal fissures deepen. Recent security operations and legal crackdowns, alongside the international exposure of their criminal and treasonous dealings, suggest that the Rachad Movement is on the verge of complete disintegration.

The battle over foreign money and YouTube revenue, alongside the public decline in their social media following, indicates a broader crisis that goes beyond mere financial woes. It reflects the growing awareness among Algerians, especially the youth, of the malicious intent behind Zitout and Amir DZ’s actions. These two have been unmasked as nothing more than puppets in a foreign game, trading Algeria’s dignity and stability for personal wealth and influence.
