ALGIERS– The President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Luis Arcé, arrived in Algiers this Saturday to participate in the 7th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).
Upon his arrival at Houari-Boumediene International Airport, the Bolivian President was welcomed by Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui, marking the commencement of his visit to Algeria for the significant summit.
President Arcé’s presence underscores Bolivia’s commitment to engaging with global partners in discussions related to natural gas production and export. As a member nation of the GECF, Bolivia plays a crucial role in shaping policies and strategies aimed at promoting cooperation among gas-exporting countries worldwide.
During the summit, President Arcé is expected to engage in discussions with fellow heads of state and government on key issues affecting the natural gas industry, including market dynamics, energy security, and sustainable development goals. The summit serves as a platform for exchanging ideas, fostering collaboration, and addressing common challenges faced by gas-producing nations.
