Bridging Communities: President Tebboune Acknowledges Grand Mosque of Paris’ Exemplary Efforts

ALGIERS– In a telephone conversation with the rector of the Grand Mosque of Paris, Mr. Chemseddine Hafiz, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, lauded the commendable efforts of this esteemed religious institution. The Presidency of the Republic, in a press statement on Thursday, highlighted President Tebboune’ satisfaction with the successful sending of 900 children from the national community to summer camps in Algeria.
The President expressed his delight over the initiative, stating that it enables children living in France to discover the rich historical and national heritage of Algeria. By participating in these summer camps, young Algerians residing abroad can reconnect with their roots, culture, and traditions, fostering a sense of belonging and appreciation for their homeland.
The communication also emphasized President Tebboune’s unequivocal support for the rector of the Grand Mosque of Paris, encouraging him to expand such initiatives towards young Algerians. By doing so, the President believes that a harmonious atmosphere can be cultivated between Algeria and France.
