CAF Cup: Young Africans, USMA first leg final to be officiated by Congolese referee

ALGIERS– The first leg of the CAF Cup between the Young Africans and USM Alger will be officiated by Jean-Jacques Ngambo Ndala, a renowned referee from DR Congo.
The match is scheduled for Sunday, May 28th, at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar Es-Salaam. Ndala will be assisted by South African Zakhele Thusi Granville Siwela and Olivier Kabene Safar from DR Congo, while the fourth referee is the Mauritian Ahmad Imtehaz Heeralall.
The video assistance to arbitration (VAR) will be handled by Kenyan Peter Waweru Kamaku, assisted by South African Akhona Zennith Makalima and Sudanese Mohammed Abdallah Ibrahim.
The return final will be played on Saturday, June 3rd, at the July 5 stadium at 8:00 p.m. If USMA wins, they will receive a bonus of 2 million dollars, according to the new CAF endowment for C3.
