ALGIERS- We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the highly anticipated 9th edition of the Mohamed Dib Literary Prize (2022-2024).
Organized by the association “La Grande Maison” of Tlemcen, this edition will honor the best novel or collection of short stories in each of the three categories: Arabic, Amazigh, and French.
To be eligible for consideration, works must consist of a minimum of 100 pages and be published for the first time by an Algerian publishing house between January 6, 2022, and January 5, 2024, as specified by the association.
Please note that all submissions, along with the required application files, must be sent before January 6, 2024, to the designated email and postal addresses of “La Grande Maison.” For further details regarding participation criteria, we encourage you to visit the official website.
In the previous edition, the prizes were awarded to Amel Bouchareb in the Arabic category, Walid Sahli in the Amazigh language category, and Keltoum Staali in the French language category.
Since its inception in 2001, the Mohammed-Dib Literary Prize has been dedicated to nurturing literary creativity among young talents in three languages: Arabic, Amazigh, and French.
