Cevital CEO Malik Rebrab expresses deep respect to President Tebboune, vows to build economically strong Algeria

ALGIERS– The company Cevital cevital Agro-industry, a subsidiary of the Cevital group, snatched the 2022 Algerian Quality Award. The prize was awarded to the group’s CEO, Malik Rebrab, by the Minister of Industry, Ahmed Zeghdar, during a ceremony held this Tuesday, February 21 at the international conference center, CIC in Algiers/
In his speech, Malik Rebrab expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Industry and his “deep respect” to the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for “his determination to encourage the spirit of excellence in various domains to make Algeria an important economic pole”.
“I am very happy to receive this special reward from our Ministry of Industry. I am very grateful to the Ministry of Industry and the Minister Ahmed Zeghdar for his kind attention,” said Cevital CEO.
And to add: “I would like to seize this special opportunity to express my deep respect to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune for his support for the development of the Algerian economy with a view to making Algeria an important economic pole”.
“In this respect, I would like to share my deep conviction that we should work hand in hand to achieve this goal. Also, I would like to congratulate my team for the hard work and this distinction,” concluded the boss of the first Algerian private economic group.
Cevital Agro-industry is based in Bejaïa where it has a major oil refinery and another sugar refinery, the largest in the world. The company is the national leader in these two products. Besides oil and sugar, it also produces margarine, sauces and mineral water.
