Algiers, Algeria | September 22nd, 2024 — The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has made a pivotal announcement regarding its decision to abstain from participating in the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2025, scheduled for February 1 to 25 in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. This resolution was reached during a crucial meeting of the FAF’s federal bureau, where it was unanimously decided to redirect efforts and resources toward the development of youth football, both male and female.
Since assuming leadership of the FAF, Walid Sadi has made significant strides and inroads in redefining the federation’s objectives.
