ALGIERS- At the behest of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, arrived Monday evening in Doha, Qatar, to participate in the proceedings of the third session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with Central Asian countries and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to a statement from the ministry, the holding of this session under the theme “Prospects for Joint Cooperation between Ambitions and Challenges” represents an opportunity for countries from these two regional spaces to discuss cooperation opportunities in various areas: political, economic, and cultural.
“The progress made in achieving common goals will also be evaluated, especially ten years after the creation of this forum as a unified platform, the main objective of which is to strengthen relations between Arab countries, Central Asian countries, and Azerbaijan,” the statement added.
On the sidelines of the forum’s proceedings, Minister Ahmed Attaf will hold bilateral meetings with several of his counterparts from participating Arab and Asian countries, the statement emphasized.
