Under the patronage of Algeria’s Ambassador and the Consul General in Belgium, the event aims to provide mentorship, guidance, and resources to aspiring entrepreneurs.
This edition highlights new incentives and legal frameworks offered by the Algerian government to encourage investment from its diaspora in Belgium, Luxembourg, and surrounding areas, fostering stronger ties and economic collaboration.
Cheb Fikra, also known as “Youth Idea,” is an Algerian initiative aimed at empowering young people by fostering creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation. It serves as a platform for youth to showcase their talents, gain mentorship, and receive support to transform their ideas into actionable projects. The program also emphasizes the importance of social entrepreneurship and active participation in the country’s socio-economic development.
This initiative frequently organizes events and caravans, such as the recent international edition in Brussels. These activities aim to engage members of the Algerian diaspora by connecting them with opportunities in Algeria. Participants are introduced to new laws and incentives for investors, especially those targeting Algerians abroad, and receive guidance on navigating these resources. Through its multifaceted approach, Cheb Fikra seeks to not only inspire young entrepreneurs but also bridge the gap between the diaspora and national development goals.
