Chief of Staff Saïd Chanegriha Hosts Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhaïl Bogdanov in Algerian Capital

ALGIERS- In a significant diplomatic engagement, General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), received Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Mr. Mikhaïl Bogdanov, on Monday in Algiers. The meeting, as reported by a statement from the Ministry of National Defense (MDN), underscores the growing ties between Algeria and Russia in the military domain.
The encounter, attended by senior officials from the ANP’s General Staff and members of the Russian delegation, served as a platform for discussions on matters of mutual interest and the exchange of perspectives. According to the MDN’s statement, both parties engaged in fruitful deliberations aimed at enhancing cooperation and understanding between Algeria and Russia.
