During a meeting held on Saturday in Algiers, representatives from multiple civil society organizations warmly welcomed President Tebboune’s announcement to seek another term. The communiqué states, “The civil society actors have praised the President of the Republic’s decision to announce his candidacy for the next presidential election. This decision responds to the appeals from diverse segments of society, aiming to fulfill the aspirations of the Algerian people and continue the reform process he initiated.”
