ALGIERS- The Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA) has expressed its utmost appreciation for the recent establishment of the National Advisory Council for the Promotion of Exports by Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane. The CREA believes that this new Council will play a pivotal role in shaping the objectives and strategies to drive non-hydrocarbon exports, fostering a dynamic and diversified economy for Algeria.
In an official press release, the CREA outlined the critical mission of the National Advisory Council for the Promotion of Exports. Among its core responsibilities are defining export promotion objectives and strategies and proposing institutional, legislative, or regulatory measures to facilitate the growth of non-hydrocarbon exports. This comprehensive approach demonstrates the government’s commitment to transforming Algeria into a formidable force in the global export market.
The formation of the Advisory Council is the result of fruitful collaboration between the Algerian Economic Renewal Council and the Export Forum held in October 2022, graced by the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The Council represents a crucial milestone in advancing the country’s economic growth and enhancing its international standing.
Emphasizing the significance of the Council’s establishment, the CREA lauded the move as a concrete step towards nurturing a stronger relationship of trust between public authorities and economic actors. This mutual cooperation is expected to create an enabling environment that encourages and supports the promotion of non-hydrocarbon exports.
The Algerian Economic Renewal Council, as a valued member of the National Consultative Council for the Promotion of Exports, firmly believes that Algeria’s economic actors possess the determination and potential to conquer foreign markets successfully. The Council firmly asserts that continuous and meaningful dialogue between all stakeholders is essential to unlock Algeria’s true exporting potential on the global stage.
With the National Advisory Council for the Promotion of Exports now in place, the CREA is optimistic that this strategic initiative will mark the beginning of a new era for Algeria’s economic landscape. The Council calls upon all relevant stakeholders to collaborate closely and seize the opportunities presented by the global market. By leveraging Algeria’s unique resources, talents, and innovation, the nation is poised to emerge as a significant player in international trade and commerce.
The CREA extends its wholehearted support to Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane and the newly formed Advisory Council, pledging its commitment to work collaboratively towards a prosperous and vibrant future for Algeria’s economy.
