ALGIERS- After a four-year hiatus, Daewoo Trucks is making a return to Algeria. The Korean brand, which was acquired by the Indian company Tata, is re-entering the Algerian market through Peng Pu Algeria. The latter secured approval for importation at the end of last year and had previously distributed the brand until 2019, even operating an assembly unit in Chlef.

Daewoo Trucks returns with an expanded network and a diverse range of Novis and Maximus models, available in multiple versions tailored for various applications.

The ceremony marking the return of Daewoo Trucks took place on Thursday in Algiers, attended by Bang Bang Shim and regional executives of the brand for the Middle East and Africa region (MEA).
