Death of former MCA president Abdelkader Drif: President Tebboune offers condolences

ALGIERS – The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune sent, today, a cable of condolences to the family of the former president of the Mouloudia Club of Algiers (MCA), Abdelkader Drif, who passed away, Tuesday, at the age of 86 following a long illness.
In his message, President Tebboune hailed the contributions of the deceased to the emergence of the oldest Algerian club “Mouloudia”, while offering his sincere and most saddened condolences to the family of the deceased, and praying to Allah Almighty to grant him His Holy Mercy and bestow patience and comfort on his relatives.
“In this painful ordeal, I extend to you, the leaders of the MCA, its supporters and the entire sporting family, my sincere condolences, praying to Allah Almighty to grant the deceased His Holy Mercy, welcome him to His vast paradise, and lend patience and comfort to his loved ones… Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return,” wrote the President of the Republic in his message.
Besides, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), and several Algerian clubs presented their sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.
