DGSN hosts French counterpart to strengthen police cooperation

ALGIERS- The Director General of National Security, Mr. Farid Ben Cheikh, welcomed his French counterpart, Mr. Frédéric Fo, on Monday, as announced in a press release from the DGSN. The meeting focused on enhancing police cooperation between the two countries in the fight against transnational crime and cybercrime.

The discussions, which began between the Algerian and French police officers, were extended to the police delegations of both countries, as highlighted in the press release. The visit serves as a testament to the commitment of both nations to work together towards a safer and more secure future.

This visit follows the one made by Mr. Farid Ben Cheikh to the services of the Directorate General of the French Police on October 13, 2020. The DGSN is dedicated to fostering strong relationships with its international counterparts to combat crime and ensure the safety of citizens.
