Diplomatic Announcement: Nicaraguan Minister of Foreign Affairs Appoints Ely Wilfredo Moncada Colindrez as Ambassador to Algeria

ALGIERS- Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega has officially designated Ely Wilfredo Moncada Colindrez as the diplomatic representative of Nicaragua in Algeria. This appointment, as stated in presidential decree 215-2023, was published in La Gaceta, Nicaragua’s official newspaper, on Wednesday. Moncada Colindrez has been entrusted with the crucial role of serving as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Nicaragua to Algeria.
The news of this appointment has been met with great enthusiasm, as expressed by Nicaraguan Vice-President Rosario Murillo. She joyfully announced, “We are delighted to share the good news that our esteemed brother, Ely Wilfredo Moncada Colindrez, has been approved as the ambassador of Nicaragua to the brotherly people and the Algerian Republic. We have always strived for a better world, and we will continue our relentless pursuit of this noble goal.”
Vice-President Murillo further revealed that Ambassador Moncada will soon embark on his diplomatic mission to Algiers. His first order of business will be to present copies of his letters of credence to the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf. Additionally, an official visit from Nicaragua’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Denis Moncada, is scheduled to take place.
