ALGIERS- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, held a productive meeting on Thursday in Oyala (Equatorial Guinea) with his counterpart from the Republic of Congo, Jean-Claude Gakosso. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the Preparatory Ministerial Meeting for the African Union (AU) Group of Ten Summit, focused on the reform of the Security Council. A press release from the ministry provided details of the encounter.
During this occasion, the two parties engaged in discussions regarding the cooperative relations between their respective countries and explored avenues to further strengthen them. Additionally, they deliberated on the prospects of enhancing coordination within the framework of the AU High-Level Committee on Libya, which is currently chaired by the Republic of Congo. These discussions were aimed at fostering greater collaboration and synergy between the two nations.
