Draft executive decree on construction of six specialized hospital establishments examined

ALGIERS– The Government examined, this Wednesday, during a weekly meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane, a draft executive decree presented by the Minister of Health, Mr. Abdelhak Saihi aimed at completing the list of specialized hospital establishments, indicated a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office.
“The Government has examined a draft executive decree, presented by the Minister of Health, aimed at supplementing the list of specialized hospital establishments, appended to executive decree no. 97-465 of December 2, 1997, by creating five ( 5) hospital establishments specialized in medico-surgical emergencies in the wilayas of Batna, Algiers, Annaba, Mascara, Oran and one (1) hospital establishment specializing in the fight against cancer, in the wilaya of Tlemcen”, specified the same source.
The construction of these structures, underlined the press release, “is part of the implementation of the program of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the health sector development plan and the national health policy which grants great interest to medico-surgical emergencies, given their priority and decisive missions for the health of the patient and the care of cancer patients”.
The creation of these structures will “facilitate the access of patients to health care and services, improve the patient’s care pathway and reduce the transfer of patients between public health establishments”, concluded the press release from the services of the Prime Minister.
