Education Minister received by UK development Minister, cooperation in field of education tackled

ALGIERS- The Minister of National Education, Mr. Abdelhakim Belaabed, was received, this Wednesday on the sidelines of his participation in the World Forum on Education held in London, by the British Minister of State for Development and Africa, Mr. Andrew Mitchell, according to a statement from the ministry on Wednesday.

“The British minister wished that Algeria’s participation in this forum would contribute to the development and success of cooperation projects in the field of education between Algeria and the United Kingdom,” assured the same source.

For his part, Mr. Belaabed reviewed “the efforts of the Algerian State to promote and develop the education system in terms of structures and supervision,” welcoming “the quality of the relations of cooperation with the British partner in this area.”

It should be noted that the Minister of National Education is taking part in the World Education Forum organized in the United Kingdom from May 7 to 10.
