shared by the Egyptian Ambassador to Algeria, Mokhtar Warida. His statement came during a promotional tour in Algeria for the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2023), which is set to take place in Egypt later this year.

The ambassador emphasized that his country is actively working towards establishing this maritime connection.

Furthermore, the Egyptian diplomat highlighted that efforts are being made to enhance the number of flights between the two nations to accommodate the growing demands of businesses and companies.

This demonstrates Egypt’s dedication to expanding trade and economic ties with Algeria. Trade between Egypt and Algeria has experienced continuous growth, and both countries are actively seeking ways to further boost joint investments. As a result, the Egyptian ambassador expressed his appreciation for Algeria’s participation in the upcoming IATF 2023, which will be held in Cairo.

It is evident that the establishment of a maritime line between Alexandria and Annaba would greatly benefit both countries. This would enhance trade relations, facilitate the transportation of goods, and foster economic cooperation.

By offering a direct route, businesses in both nations will have easier access to each other’s markets, encouraging further investment and economic growth. The potential for increased flights between Egypt and Algeria is equally promising. Improved connectivity through air travel will not only facilitate trade but also promote cultural exchange and tourism. It would enable individuals from both countries to visit and explore various opportunities, ultimately strengthening the bonds between the two nations.
