Energy: 12th NAPEC to Be Held in Algeria’s Oran from October 14-16

Algiers, Algeria | October 2nd, 2024 — The 12th edition of the “Africa & Mediterranean Energy & Hydrogen Exhibition and Conference” (NAPEC 2024) will take place from October 14 to 16 at the Oran Convention Center (CCO), bringing together key players from the global oil, gas, and energy sectors. The event, which has become a prominent platform for the energy industry, will feature companies and service providers involved in hydrocarbons and renewable energy from across the world, according to the organizers’ statement on Tuesday.

This year’s edition will feature enhanced participation from the Ministry of Energy and Mines, the Sonatrach Group, and Alnaft, signaling their strategic support for the growth and transformation of Algeria’s energy sector. Their involvement underscores the importance placed on technological innovation, energy transition, decarbonization, and the strengthening of international partnerships. Such engagement positions Algeria as a pivotal player in the global energy arena.

Running parallel to NAPEC 2024, several high-profile events are expected, with announcements of major strategic partnerships and the signing of key international cooperation agreements. The rising role of hydrogen as a crucial driver of the energy transition will be a focal point in discussions and partnerships throughout the conference.
