ALGIERS- Abraj Energy Services, an Omani company, has expressed its interest in investing in Algeria’s energy sector. The President of Abraj Energy Services, Saif bin Saïd Al-Hamhami, met with the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, to discuss potential investment opportunities in Algeria.
During the meeting, the two parties explored investment opportunities in hydrocarbons, including exploration, development, well maintenance activities, well services, and training. They also discussed the possibility of cooperation in processing and new techniques to recover closed wells.
Mr. Arkab emphasized Algeria’s commitment to developing its hydrocarbon resources and exploiting its mining capital. He extended an invitation to Abraj Energy Services to establish a partnership with Sonatrach, Algeria’s national oil company, and to exchange experiences and expertise.
The executive director of Abraj Energy Services expressed his desire to invest in Algeria and create business opportunities. He also expressed his willingness to establish win-win partnerships, particularly with Sonatrach.
Algeria’s energy sector has immense potential, and Abraj Energy Services’ interest in investing in the country is a positive development. The partnership between Abraj Energy Services and Sonatrach could lead to significant advancements in Algeria’s energy sector, benefiting both parties.
