Energy: “Poland interested in identifying concrete partnership projects in Algeria,” FA’s Deputy Minister

ALGIERS– Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received, at the headquarters of his ministerial department, the Polish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pawel Jablonski, accompanied by representatives of the Polish hydrocarbons company, indicated, Tuesday, a press release from the ministry.
The talks between the two parties focused on the development of cooperation relations between the two countries in the field of energy, particularly in the oil and gas industry, between Sonatrach and the Polish hydrocarbon company PGNIG.
In this context, the Minister presented the opportunities offered in terms of cooperation and partnership in the fields of hydrocarbons (upstream and downstream), emphasizing the local manufacture of industrial energy equipment and training.
The parties also discussed other aspects of cooperation related to exchanges of experience as well as cooperation between the two countries in the mining field in Algeria.
The Polish FA’s Deputy Minister, on his part, expressed the interest of Polish companies in investing in Algeria and identifying concrete partnership projects with Algerian companies in the sector, particularly in the field of hydrocarbons.
The two parties have agreed to the establishment of a joint working group to continue discussions between the companies of the two countries.
