Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign for Advancement of One Million University Students

ALGIERS-The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari, has expressed his commitment to transforming universities into citizen-centric institutions that cater to the needs of the nation and contribute to its progress.
During an inspection visit to Mostaganem, Minister Baddari emphasized that individual employment has become a prevailing trend among Algerian students. Recognizing this shift, he underscored the higher education sector’s dedication to fostering economic growth through the establishment of emerging institutions.
Baddari emphasized the pivotal role of scientific research and innovation in driving the country’s development, a fact evident from the projects he observed during the visit. He further stated, “We are collectively striving to strengthen and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset across all universities in the nation, fostering healthy competition among them.”
The minister disclosed that his sector has outlined 11 commitments aimed at transforming universities into engines of development. As part of these efforts, a comprehensive awareness campaign will be launched, targeting one million university students to educate them about entrepreneurship in the luxury industry.
