Algiers, Algeria | December 12th, 2024 — The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has officially appointed Madjid Bougherra as the new head coach of the local national football team. This marks Bougherra’s return to the helm of the team, as he prepares for upcoming challenges, notably the 2025 Arab Cup in Qatar.
Bougherra, a revered figure in Algerian football, previously led the local team to significant success, including winning the 2021 Arab Cup held in Qatar. His leadership was instrumental in the team’s triumph, and his return is expected to bring fresh energy and tactical precision as the team gears up for future competitions.
