ALGIERS- In an official statement released on its Facebook page, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with Chery Algeria for automobiles.
According to the statement published on the official website, the FAF revealed the signing of a partnership and sponsorship contract with the limited liability company Auto Leader Company, the exclusive representative of the “Chery” brand for automobiles in Algeria.
The signing ceremony, held at the National Technical Centre in Sidi Moussa, was attended by the President of the Algerian Football Federation, Walid Sadi, and the General Manager of the Chinese company’s representative in Algeria, Aïmène Cheriet.
The contract, as per the Algerian Football Federation’s announcement, spans three years from 2024 to 2027.
Chery Algeria, on its part, announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Algerian Football Federation.
According to Chery’s statement, this partnership aims to support, encourage, and strengthen Algerian sports, as well as national unity.
The Auto Leader Company’s statement added, “We believe in the importance of sports as a means of unification and development, and we are proud to support the Algerian national football team. We look forward to a bright future marked by continued success of Algerian football on the international stage.”
The statement further stated, “We warmly welcome the Algerian Football Federation as an official partner, considering it a positive step towards achieving our goals of developing Algerian football and promoting the values of excellence.”
The partnership also includes plans to conduct joint promotional campaigns and events aimed at increasing awareness and full support for the national team, and showcasing Chery as a leading brand in the automotive industry, committed to excellence and innovation.
In conclusion, the statement emphasized, “The partnership signifies a commitment to mutual growth and collaboration, with a shared vision of advancing Algerian football and fostering national pride and unity.”
