ALGIERS- In a coordinated effort between Algerian diplomatic channels and international cooperation, the family of Palestinian journalist Wissam Abou Zaid, who serves as a correspondent for Algeria’s Public Television Establishment (ENTV), has been successfully repatriated to Algeria. The arrival of Abou Zaid’s family at the Houari Boumediene International Airport in Algiers on Friday evening marks a significant step in providing refuge for Palestinian families affected by the ongoing Zionist aggression in the occupied territories since October 7th.
The repatriation of Wissam Abou Zaid’s family, comprising his wife and four children, is the result of close coordination between the Algerian Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, and the Directorate of Communication, Information, and Coordination at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad.
