FM Attaf Holds Productive Meeting with Romanian Counterpart

ALGIERS- During his official visit to Romania, Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf engaged in a fruitful discussion with his Romanian counterpart, Luminita Odobescu, in Bucharest on Tuesday.

In a press release issued by the ministry, it was highlighted that the meeting served as an opportunity to evaluate the multifaceted relations and partnership between the two nations across various sectors, including trade, energy, education, and agriculture.

Both parties, as per the same source, delineated the objectives and priorities of their bilateral partnership, while also establishing a timeline for forthcoming milestones, notably the upcoming session of the joint commission for economic and technical cooperation.

Moreover, the two diplomats delved into the evolving situations surrounding several pressing issues, such as the occupied Palestine, the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, as well as the developments in Niger, Mali, and the Western Sahara.

This high-level meeting not only underscored the commitment of both countries to strengthening their ties but also demonstrated their shared dedication to addressing global challenges and fostering regional stability.
