ALGIERS- Continuing the series of political consultations with representatives of African countries on the sidelines of the African Union (AU) summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf held talks on Sunday with Sierra Leone’s Vice President, Mr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh.
According to a statement from the ministry, the meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss possibilities for strengthening relations between the two countries and to monitor the implementation of resolutions from the official visit by Sierra Leone’s President, Mr. Julius Maada Bio, earlier this month.
The two sides also discussed agenda items for the AU summit and agreed to continue coordinating between their countries within the United Nations Security Council and other international and regional institutions, the statement added.
