Foreign Minister Attaf Explores Algeria’s Pavilion at Expo Doha 2023 Horticultural Exhibition

ALGIERS- In the sidelines of his representation at the Doha Forum, Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf, acting as the representative of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, toured Algeria’s pavilion at the Expo Doha 2023 horticultural exhibition in Qatar.
During his visit, the minister explored various sections of the Algerian pavilion, where he received visual explanations about the diverse plant species found in the country. The displays also covered agricultural and horticultural techniques, methods to combat water scarcity, as well as showcasing artisanal works and images of national monuments and tourist sites.
Expressing gratitude to the pavilion’s organizers, Minister Attaf commended their efforts and dedication in presenting an accurate and expressive representation of Algeria, encompassing its glorious past, rich present, and promising future.
Furthermore, Minister Attaf visited the pavilions of the brotherly State of Qatar, where he congratulated Qatari officials on the great success of the international exhibition. He highlighted the exhibition’s emphasis on communication, cooperation, and sharing experiences for a sustainable future for humanity.
In a gesture of unwavering solidarity, Minister Attaf also visited the pavilion of the brotherly State of Palestine. During the visit, he expressed Algeria’s continuous support for the Palestinian people in the face of injustice, aggression, and repeated attempts to erase their identity on their ancestral land.
Algeria’s participation in Expo Doha 2023 serves as a platform to showcase the country’s agricultural and cultural richness while fostering diplomatic and cultural ties on the international stage. The minister’s engagements underline Algeria’s commitment to collaboration and solidarity with fellow nations.
